Skip the retainer. Just ask.
A classifieds board for people who actually do the work — from electricians to attorneys, from backend engineers to personal trainers. Post what you offer, or message someone directly. No agency, no application, no fee just to ask a question.
What this is
Cardano’s Classifieds is built like an old-fashioned classifieds section, not a gig-work app. Independent pros — licensed professionals, skilled tradespeople, freelancers, creators — write a listing describing what they do and what they charge, the same way you’d place a want ad. Anyone can browse or search by category or keyword and message them directly. There’s no bidding war, no algorithm deciding who you talk to, and no agency taking a cut of the conversation before it even starts.
How it works
If you need something done — a repair, a piece of code, a coach — browse by category or search for it, read a few listings, and send a message. Some pros take bookings for a set time slot; most are just as happy to answer a direct question. You only ever pay for what you actually use.
If you’re the one doing the work, list your services in a few minutes — a title, a category, a bio, and a rate. From there you can post updates to your own feed — photos, availability, finished work — the same way you’d post to a feed anywhere else, and build a following of people who want to hear from you again.
Getting paid
Clients can pay by card, processed by Stripe — Cardano’s Classifieds never sees your card details. Or, true to the name, connect a Cardano wallet and pay or get paid directly in ADA: tips, locked posts, and paid messages all work the same way, wallet to wallet, with every payment independently verified on chain before it counts. See Wallet Setup to connect one.
Pros keep 90% of what they earn. Cardano’s Classifieds takes a flat 10% platform fee on bookings and tips — the same cut whether you’re paid by card or in ADA — and nothing else: no listing fees, no subscription, no charge just to browse or send a message.
Cardano’s Classifieds also has its own token, $CLASS, with staking rewards for holders — see Staking for details.
Keeping it honest
Every listing, post, and comment can be reported, and a moderation team reviews reports and can remove content or suspend accounts that break the rules. Pros can also delist their own listing or posts any time without deleting them for good — nothing has to be permanent just to be out of sight. Anyone can also flag a profile, listing, or post as a possible bad actor or scammer — flags are public and visible right away, so the more flags something has, the better the odds it’s actually a problem. See our Content Policy for what’s prohibited and how it’s enforced.
